We really enjoyed our stay in a studio at “Quinta Fronteira”! The “Quinta” is small scale (2 studios and 2 one bed apartments) and is quietly located. Every now and then a car passes by, but this only accentuates how quiet is really is most of the time! Our studio offered a lot of privacy with a private entrance, with our own little terrace, which was a very enjoyable hang-out spot for us. The decoration was perfectly harmonious – a very nice vibe – and offered everything e needed. .”Quinta Fronteira” is also a great base from which we made trips and explore the area; there is a lot to see and the coastline is stunning.”

“We feel blessed to have stayed at this great place! We were kindly received by Ellen, who supplied us with lots of information and tips to get us going! We stayed in a studio, which was very clean and had all the necessary facilities. There is a lot to do in the area and everything is easily accessible . In Lagos we enjoyed a great meal at Sweet and temptation en at the Garden . We had a cocktail on the roof terrace of Via Vinto which was lovely. In the morning we’d set out to get our freshly baked rolls at the local minimarket Gloria at walking distance from the Quinta. We visited Monchique, Sagres, Alzejur and various beaches, all of which were lovely. ”

Last week we enjoyed a stay in an apartment at Quinta Fronteira. The apartment was nice and clean and offered everything we needed such as an airco, a coffee machine, kitchen utensils, a mosquito net and bath towels. The garden was precious! There was a sun lounger for everyone, the pool was clean and the water was at exactly the right temperature. The village is very small and quiet, but there is a mini market and a restaurant that serves decent meat and fish dishes (o Koala). Within 10 min you’re in Lagos and other villages, towns and beaches are also within easy reach. In short, we highly recommend this place! “
“From the 24th of September we celebrated our holidays in Portugal. I say “celebrated”, because staying at Quinta Fronteira is a celebration! Beautiful apartment, in a stunning garden with a lot of privacy. We love hiking and did we hike! Along awesome beaches and over breathtaking cliffs. And to return to such a beautiful location after a walk was absolutely superb! It was the first but definitely not the last time we stayed here! “
“ Just came back yesterday from a uniquely delightful holiday at Quinta Fronteira. Our stay for the week was studio “Marte”, such a wonderful space, really great! View on the picturesque garden and the quiet surroundings. Every day a bird concert! The pool was ideal too cool off, we enjoyed many siestas and some reading time by the pool . I’m homesick already! I want to go back! I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay and feel rested. A great place with a very hospitable hostess who can gave us lots of infromation and tips. A great place to stay in a fantastic country!”
